INTRODUCTION:
We purchased our first Boer Goats in 1998. Since then we have been continually improving our overall herd quality. We breed for a structurally correct goat with good length and width. We want our does to be feminine, good producers with beautiful udders, excellent milk production and mothering abilities.
We maintain a clean, tested, mostly-closed herd of quality full South African genetics. We try to keep our herd size down so we can concentrate on quality -- not quantity. We do have a few Boer/Nubian crossbreds. Although our Fullblood herd is mostly traditional, we like to have fun colors and markings in our percentages. We even have Spotted and Dappled goats!

| We have been breeding spotted goats since 1998. We started with a black spotted purebred registered Nubian doe, breeding her and her offspring to fullblood Boer Bucks. We have culled vigorously and now have made it up to Purebred does and bucks. This year we bred some of our does to Thunder Heart ELR, a Fullblood, black with roan spots, Boer Buck. The colors we are getting are quite unique. The buck above, pictured at 1 month old, is an example. |

This wether is an RNT'S Intimidation *ENNOBLED son out of Gold Country Charmaine. He was Supreme Market Wether at the Valley Classic Show 5-6-07. He went on to be Supreme Market Wether at Chowchilla. Congratulations and thanks to Briana Kehn for doing such a good job with this boy. |

This wether is an RNT'S Intimidation *ENNOBLED son out of Gold Country Mupedelia. He was Supreme Champion Market Goat at the 2007 San Joaquin County Fair. Congratulations and thanks to Christin Alexander. She picked out this wether herself, and did an excellent job raising him. Christin sent me an email that said:
"Thank you :) I had a lot of fun with that wether. He was one of a kind. Every body called him 'Arny' just because he was so muscular.
When I was being judged, the judge made me brace him because he thought the wether just might have been a bit fat. But I tell ya, after bracing him for that long, my legs gave out. He was just that strong and the judge could definitely see the muscle up on his top line, rump and hind legs. He said that was the deepest goat at the fair.
Thanks again and I hope I can purchase from you again!
Christin" |
