| Gold Country Trinket SA (left) was First Place 6-9 month Fullblood Does and Reserve Junior Champion doe at the Northern California Boer Goat Show 6-23-07. |
Gold Country Mavramorn SA (right) was second in her class at the same show. |
INTRODUCTION:
We purchased our first Boer Goats in 1998. Since then we have been continually improving our overall herd quality. We breed for a structurally correct goat with good length and width. We want our does to be feminine, good producers with beautiful udders, excellent milk production and mothering abilities.
We maintain a clean, tested, mostly-closed herd of quality full South African genetics. We try to keep our herd size down so we can concentrate on quality -- not quantity. We do have a few Boer/Nubian crossbreds. Although our Fullblood herd is mostly traditional, we like to have fun colors and markings in our percentages. We even have "Polka-Dots!"

RRD POLITICALLY INCORRECT: |
 |
 |
We purchased this mostly red paint buck, to cross on our Polka-Dot/spotted does. RRD Politically Incorrect was 7th in a class of 68 at the 2008 ABGA National Show in Tulsa, OK. If you look at the show results in the ABGA Boer Goat Magazine, it lists his name as "RRD X65" as we changed his name after we purchased him. This is a wide chested, long-bodied, long-necked, up-headed buck.
P.I.'s kids are here and they are exceptional! He has also proved an excellent cross on our spotted does -- keeping the spots and color coming! |

This wether is an RNT'S Intimidation *ENNOBLED son out of Gold Country Charmaine. He was Supreme Market Wether at the Valley Classic Show 5-6-07. He went on to be Supreme Market Wether at Chowchilla. Congratulations and thanks to Briana Kehn for doing such a good job with this boy. |

This wether is an RNT'S Intimidation *ENNOBLED son out of Gold Country Mupedelia. He was Supreme Champion Market Goat at the 2007 San Joaquin County Fair. Congratulations and thanks to Christin Alexander. She picked out this wether herself, and did an excellent job raising him. Christin sent me an email that said:
"Thank you :) I had a lot of fun with that wether. He was one of a kind. Every body called him 'Arny' just because he was so muscular.
When I was being judged, the judge made me brace him because he thought the wether just might have been a bit fat. But I tell ya, after bracing him for that long, my legs gave out. He was just that strong and the judge could definitely see the muscle up on his top line, rump and hind legs. He said that was the deepest goat at the fair.
Thanks again and I hope I can purchase from you again!
Christin" |
